3 Steps to Making Prescription Glasses

Filed under: Prescription Glasses — Glasses Frames @ 4:50 am

Prescription glasses are very common nowadays. My mother wears bifocal glasses, and my two brothers wear myopia or short sighted glasses. Most of us don’t really know how prescription glasses are made. All we have to do is to go to the optometrist, and get our refractive problem measured. Then, the spectacles can be made in a few days, or even as short as a few hours!

The first step is to get your eyes measured properly. The severity of short or long sightedness is measured by the optometrist. It is then sent to the lab or the lens people to get the lens that can most precisely correct your problem. If there are ready made ones that match yours perfectly, then that will be used. Else, the lens will be further polished on one side to give the precise focal length.

The second step is to polish the edges of the lens to fit into your eye wear frame. The edges will be rounded to prevent unnecessary cuts to the user. Nowadays, users have lots of choices with regards to frames selection, from different kinds of materials, colors and fancy designs. The third step is to fit the lenses into the frame, which then goes into a nice box for you to take home.

The best advice is still to get rid of your glasses, and seek to regain your natural perfect eye sight. I have thrown away my glasses several years back, and was thankful that I am saved from a lifetime of eye wear inconveniences and costs.

I now have perfect vision in my right eye, and near perfect in my left. I have searched for natural ways to improve my vision, and have found one that actually works for me. Do check out the scientifically proven, natural and easy way to improve your vision, without burning a hole in your pocket.
