The eyeglass frame is the most decisive part of a pair of spectacles. It mainly determines the overall style and model of eyeglasses. On the contrary, differences among eyeglass lenses are always less obvious. In this case, it is very necessary to pay enough attention to the selection of an appropriate frame. In detail, there are some basic rules while choosing eyeglass frames either for men or women. Firstly, the frame shape of a pair of eyeglasses should contrast with the wearer’s face shape. A second consideration may rest on frame size, which should be generally in scale with one’s face size. More importantly, a pair of eyeglasses should repeat the user’s personal best features. This third aspect focuses mainly on frame color. To some degree, frame colors are essential to express a fashionable look. While the first two requirements discussed above are quite general, frame color is more closely associated with being stylish. Nowadays, there are colorful eye glass frames for women.

It is always true that stylish eyeglass frames are more meaningful for women. Gentlemen are less interested in dressing themselves with colorful eyeglasses. But at the side of ladies, eyeglasses with various colors really broaden their choices. In fact, these colorful eye glass frames for women have benefited from the usage of plastics as frame materials. Metal frames can hardly be painted with different colors. This explains the phenomenon that most metal-made eyeglass frames are black. But with plastic eyeglass frames, a lot of colors can be applied, including green, blue, red, orange, yellow, purple etc. All these colorful options enable women to use different eyeglasses in specific circumstances. But it is very necessary to determine which color or colors are personally suitable.

There are some basic points that are useful while choosing eyeglass frame colors. All people have either cool or warm coloring; everyone looks best in his or her own color base; eyewear color should complement personal coloring. According to this information, the first thing to do before selecting colored eyeglass frames is to determine personal color base. There are three parts of the human body that should be considered. The first one is skin tone, which is the prime element in determining personal coloring. In fact, every person has a warm or cool color base. The secondary element that determines personal coloring is the eye color. In general, blue eyes fall into the cool coloring and yellow eyes are considered as warm coloring. It is still important to assess personal hair color. Cool hair colors include platinum, blue-back and white, while warm ones contain golden blond, flat black and so on. All of these three aspects should be considered while choosing eye glass frames for women.
